In the Slum communities of Freetown, Sierra Leone, thousands of children have never had a school book that belongs to them. They sit on broken chairs, share one textbook between ten students, and many never finish primary school. CINORG is changing that- providing education resources, teacher training for 2,500 of most forgotten children in West Africa. One book. One teacher. One child whose future just changed.
These children face significant barriers to education, including Limited access to schools: insufficient educational infrastructure and resources. Poverty and Vulnerability; Families struggling to meet basic needs, making education a low priority. Social and Economic Challenges; High dropout rates, child labor, and exploitation.
Our initiative addresses these challenges: providing educational support; access to quality education, including literacy and numeracy programs. Addressing poverty and vulnerability support with basic needs, such as food, clothing, and healthcare. Community Engagement; Working with families and communities to promote the importance of education.
By educating these children, we can; Empower future generation; Equip them with skills and knowledge to secure better paying jobs and improve their socio- economic status. Break the cycle of poverty; Reduce poverty and Vulnerability, promoting sustainable developand economic growth. Foster positive change: Develop informed, engage, and responsible citizens who can contribute to their communities development
