2,500 Children Are Waiting For Their First Real Ed

Dear Donors,

We are excited to share a major milestone for our 2,500 children in Kroobay, Susan's Bay, Mabella, Kolleh Town, and Crab Town.

PROGRESS UPDATE:

After months of work, CINORG Educatio Team has succesfully developed complete teaching and learning materials for Classes 1 to 6. These materials are aligned with the Sierra Leone Ministry of Education syllabus and designed specifically for children in slum communities who have never had access to proper books.

WHAT WE HAVE DONE:

1. Curriculum Development: Full set of lesson plans, textbooks content, and teacher guide for 6 grades completed.

2. Community Validation: Materials were reviewed  with 10 teachers and parents to ensure they are simple, practical, and culturally relevant.

3. Readiness We are now at the printing stage. All files are ready and waiting for funding to print 15,000+ books and exercise books.

THE NEED REMAINS

2,500 children are still waiting for their first real set of boobs, pen, pencils, and school bag. Most are currently by copying from the blackboard because there are no materials.

NEXT STEPS

With funding we will

1. Print and bind all teaching materials 

2. Procure pencils, pens, and school bags

3. Distribute to 2,500 children through School Management Committees.

4. Train 50 teachers on using the new materials.

IMPACT GOALS

Our goal is to improve literacy and numeracy for 2,500 vulnerable children and give them dignirty in the classroom.
