A Fresh start in a NEW PLACE…in our own ‘NEW HOME’!
A day that taught us to dream further was April 22nd. The days when everything looked impossible, years of toil and unending hindrance from all direction now seemed distant. This day we inaugurated our own home for our children “Our ‘NEW’ HOME”
No stone was left unturned and no donor or supporter was missed out in sharing our joy. We celebrated it in the best of our ability with our children, staff, donors, supporters, and friends. We profusely thanked each person who helped us change our dream of a permanent campus to a reality.
Our talented boys wooed the crowd through their instrumental and vocals skills and our girls made everyone want to hit the dance floor with the rhythmic movements and grace.
The inauguration ceremony ended with planting a young tree for “New Beginnings”. The tree shall grow and provide shade over the land, just as New Home shall grow and provide more shelter for our children as well as other homeless children around.
After living in a rented place for 11 years, now we have a home which we call as our own. With this, the strain that always came while living in a rented place has been done away with.
Our new campus currently accommodates 50 children and 15 staff – complete with a full functional kitchen, dining area, and play grounds.
But this is just the beginning! With your continuous support and donation, we dream to expand our Home.
Burst of laughter and a comfortable home makes all the efforts worthwhile. We don’t know what tomorrow has in store but we know that our supporters will always be on our side and we know our dream. A Big Thank you to our wonderful donors who taught us to dream!
We invite you to visit our own home “Our New, NEW HOME “
“Every second brings a fresh beginning, every hour holds a new promise, every night our dreams bring hope, every day is what we choose to make it!”
The end of another school year…. holidays and proud moments awaited us!
Summer strikes whether we like it or not! Water shortage coupled with scorching heat is an issue. But the joy of freedom that comes with school holidays surpasses them.
More time in bed and more of the sun, outdoor and indoor activities, extraordinary events and ample time in hand, our children are enjoying the time of their lives.
Our children Raju, Esther, Thomba, and Umesh have completed their 10th grade after slogging for months and we are anxiously awaiting their result.
Bhavana has graduated from “Daughters of Hope” where she has carved a niche for herself in tailoring.
So, when you are in Bangalore and need some tailoring to be done you know whom to contact ;-).
We are proud of our children for coming out in flying colors in the year gone by. With excitement in the air, a tight schedule involving classes in music, art, vocals, dance, writing, a little of studies, not to forget the bonus movie nights, they are utilizing their time in a constructive manner.
