Challenge

Urban violence, drug addiction, teenage pregnancy, domestic violence, school dropout, unemployment, informality, child sexual abuse, alcoholism, malnutrition and low levels of education are some of the problems we face. All these forces combined, act just like a whirlpool in the ocean, drowning every attempt of success, preserving this endless cycle of poverty, violence and despair. The children are the most affected and must live without any future perspective or hope of a better tomorrow.

Solution

Our "Educate" program addresses all these above-mentioned problems with four pillars: 1. Nutrition, 2. Education on Moral Values, 3. Cultural/Cognitive Development and 4. School Tutoring and Academic Support. Most children come to us by the age of 4 and stay until they complete 18 years old. A new building will give us the possibility to improve the quality of our work and increase the capacity to host even more kids in the near future.

Long-Term Impact

With an outstanding "national education exam" result, our children would have the access to scholarships in the country's best universities, offering them more opportunities in life and a chance of a better future. Additionally, our goal is not only to deliver good professionals to the society but also good human beings, full of values, capable of love, share and transform the lives of many others around them.
