We have been focusing the last couple of months on our recently launched Product Innovation Lab as well as Platos & Relatos a new project to be launched that hopes to be both an additional food lab for our most advanced students and alum, an additional revenue stream for them while their small businesses grow, as well as an earned source of income to help finance Cocinando Sueños and grow our reach and impact.
The Product Innovation Lab, is virtual space where outstanding students are being both individually and group coached and mentored. The Lab has allowed women entrepreneurs to focus on enhancing and improving their products. Women have prototyped and validated their prototypes guided by our team of food design experts. They have gained further insights into their customers need and wants. They have translated these insights into enhanced innovative middle eastern sauces, dips and classic desserts with a twist. Students and alum have successfully increased their cash flow by focusing on developing and enhancing innovative food products by combining their passions, Colombia´s native fruits and clients food preferences.
We are happy to share we have been invited to a City Entrepreneurship Fair (In Medellin- Colombia) where participants of our lab, have sold their products and most importantly had a chance to show their work in shopping mall with an affluent group of visitors.
