Your Latest Update

By Leah Crabtree | Project Leader

We're back to deliver you the most recent update from our scholarship students.

In April, we conducted student appraisals to review academic performance, discuss individual progress, and assess students' wellbeing.

We held a one-week tuition programme for our Form Four students, focusing on revision in Mathematics and Chemistry to strengthen their understanding and prepare them for their final examinations. During the same week, we also conducted mentorship sessions to prepare students for the transition to tertiary education and help them understand the realities, responsibilities, and opportunities that await them after completing secondary school.

In July, we welcomed the second cohort of our TVET programme, comprising students pursuing Building and Construction. The students are currently spending three months at Tigithi Vocational Training college, followed by another three months undertaking practical training within the conservancy.

We are currently preparing for our annual mentorship programme, scheduled for 7 to 11 December 2026 where all the students will meet at Daraja Academy.

It's been a very busy six months for our students, we can't wait to bring you the next update!
