Dear All,
Sometimes you know how difficult it is to express emotions. This is also one of those moments.
When we started our activities in 2016, many people asked us where to find the money to do what we have planned. We have said that we believe that people in good faith in the world will support us. We were right.
Now, We support the university education of 30 young girls with your donations and we believe that this number will increase even more in 2019.
Once again we thank you all and wish that the new year will bring health to all of you.

Run For Goodness

On 11th of November 2018, as Buldan Foundation, we have attended to a charity run under the co-ordination of Adm Adm (Step-by-Step) formation at the 40th Istanbul Marathon. The campaign was about raising funds for girls to support their college education. Over 100 volunteers were happy to run with us from all over the world such as from France, Holland, Italy and England and they all were happy to collect donations for our campaign.
The aim was touching on the lives of these girls and raising awareness about Girls Education. Even if we have achieved our goals for this running, this is not enough for us, so we want to reach more people day by day to tell them how important the Girls' Education for the develoment of the society. This charity run is not only important for collecting funds but also to increase of visibility of our campaign along with increasing the number of volunteers for our foundation.
We, almost 104 team members, run with our t-shirts written on "Kzmz Okuyacak" meaning "Education is Power" from Asia to Europe over the Bosphorus bridge in Istanbul between the continents. For the run, in the early morning we met on the bridge with our team members with our flags and other material and then run started. Some of us finished the run ( 15 km) before others but we waited each other to meet after the run to have breakfast all together.
Althought we were all tired, we were really happy and peaceful because we did something good for society and for the sake of bright future.

NEW ACADEMIC YEAR

Dear Friends,
The new school year started, so we would like to share a good news with you. As we mentioned in our different reports, Buldan Education and Solidarity Foundation was founded in Buldan in 2015 by the people who believe in educations' power to change people lifes. So, they started to support the university students since 2016. At the beginning, the number of students were really a few but now we are really happy to announce you that the foundation supports 35 university students for the 2018-2019 academic year. Foundation provides the necessary resource for these students from the foundation friends, the project in global giving, and the Charity Runs which it participated with the Adm Adm platform in Turkey.
The purpose of the foundation is to support the education of female students in particular and to empower them in this way, to look to the future with hope. The target of Foundation is to reach the necessary resources for 200 university students in near future.
We believe and trust your support in achieving this goal. Thank you so much for your contribution to this goal.
