The graduating class includes two major groups:
Spotlight on a Graduate: Going Beyond the Textbook
We want to shine a special light on the educators who bring these skills back to their communities. Meet Janyole Guillén, Pastoral Coordinator and a teacher at the Preescolar Inmaculada Niña de Santa Ana in the high-need area of Casalta 3, Propatria.
Janyole, graduating from the Diploma in Pedagogical Mediation of Learning, shares how the program has profoundly changed his approach to teaching and life:
"Since I started the Diploma in Pedagogical Mediation of Learning with Coromoto 2020 and UCAB, I feel like I've entered a space of growth that goes far beyond technical learning. Every session provides me with practical tools, yes, but it also connects me with values, purpose, and a profound sense of humanity that is often lost in our daily lives.
In every encounter, I don't just learn; I discover myself. I am heard, I am taken into account, and that significantly boosts my motivation. The dynamics, the content, and the exchanges with other participants strengthen my professional capacities, but they also fuel my confidence and my commitment to my community.
Living this experience is reconnecting with what it means to educate and be educated: not as an obligation, but as an opportunity. The alliance between Coromoto 2020 and UCAB shows me that education can be approachable, useful, and profoundly transformative.
Thank you for this opportunity, which undoubtedly contributes to and encourages me to continue dedicating my life to teaching others."
Congratulations to all 90 graduates! We are incredibly proud of their dedication and look forward to the transformative impact they will bring to their students and communities.
