This project provides new Eid clothes to children in Gaza who are living under blockade and hardship. Through this support, we bring joy, restore a sense of dignity, and offer a moment of normalcy to children deprived of basic needs. Run by Children of Earth Association (YECED), the project aims to uplift young lives during Eid al-Adha.
Children in Gaza live under constant blockade, poverty, and the trauma of conflict. With families struggling to meet even their most basic needs, Eid-normally a time of joy-often passes without celebration. Many children face Eid without clean clothes or the dignity of participating in holiday traditions. Without intervention, thousands of children will miss the emotional relief and sense of normalcy that Eid can bring.
This project will provide new Eid clothing packages to children in Gaza through local distribution teams. By ensuring that each child receives a clean and festive outfit, we help restore a sense of dignity, emotional relief, and belonging during the Eid season. We strive to reach as many children in need as possible, depending on resources and access conditions.
By providing Eid clothing packages to children in Gaza, the project helps nurture a sense of dignity, inclusion, and emotional resilience in the midst of hardship. Small but meaningful acts of care can have lasting psychological and social effects-especially for thousands of children living in crisis zones. This initiative may also encourage community solidarity and hope among families facing long-term instability.
