Dear Donor,

We hope this email finds you well.

We bring news of the project supported by you so that you can follow closely what the young people have achieved

We hope you feel motivated to continue supporting us and together we can promote opportunities for the development and autonomy for a full life for young people in vulnerability

In the last three months, the project supported 35 young people through groups and individual follow-ups, focusing on the development of autonomy, professional and housing projects. Some young people were referred to job opportunities and vocational courses according to their profile, others prepared curricula and got to know new areas of work interest. Activities to help them face interviews and selection processes were developed and guidance on finances was also part of the meetings.

We would like to share the story os N., supported by the project tha, despite the numerous challenges, grabbed a new job opportunity:

N. lived a challenging year. Through internet access, she searched her network for job oportunities, delivered several resumes, but could not find a job. She won a spot to coach football, an old dream, but she faced several issues, from concerns of the Republic team to lack of money to get around to disappointment with his physical shape and preparation, hampered by the context she lived in the pandemic. N. was a warrior and resisted, she rode a bicycle, played soccer on courts near the Republic where she lives, and trained in the backyard of her house. But she didn't fund the training. This and other frustrations shook the young woman a little, but she remained firm and graduated from the Grupo Nós program, with her gigantic strength. She received good news at the end of the year and starts 2022 with a guaranteed job vacancy: she was approved in the selection process at a partner company of the Fazendo História Institute.

We are very grateful to you for making stories like N`s doable. Your contribution transforms difficult realities into prosperity.

Thank you.
