The project will be used to protect the refugee center as long as Ukrainian refugees who are tired of the war, feel safe. At least 100 to 3,000 people will be beneficiary. The center, which was built by cleaning and repairing the space that had been abandoned for 9 years, had collapsed the ceiling and water and electricity are in trouble one after another. Even the interest of other donors has disappeared, and the manpower that helped clean up has over, and staffs are exhausted. Give your help!
Russia's invasion of Ukraine has caused about 3.6 million refugees, 360,000 of whom have fled to Moldova. Even at unpredictably prolonged war situation, refugees must somehow be educated, earn a living, and survive in Moldovan society. But support to Moldova is declining and understaffed and it effect to refugees.
Peace Winds Korea aims to maintain this place by supporting a center for Ukrainian refugees until the war is over. We are cooperating with Kishinaus to repair the center's broken walls and ceilings, create an environment where children can get a rich education, and provide job opportunities for adults. It is the only center that is trying to solve the problem from a long-term perspective. As a result, not only the beneficiaries, but it will also prevent conflicts with Moldova people.
The project aims to expand and practice ways to intergrate with Moldovan society, with at least 3,000 Ukrainian refugees attending Moldovan schools before the end of the war, earning a living from jobs.
