Report from the manager of Patria Lukoil Refugee center for the November.
Maximum refugees hosted at 1 time during this period is 106.
A few refugees got there visas accepted , and left the shelter.
Thanks to your support we were able to Install Water Filter System in the Patria Lukoil refugee shelter. So people can now drink clean water. And now we don’t have to waste money for buying water. Also we bought a small sink and cabinet.(Photos added)
We were able to buy the winter shoes and winter uniform for the employees of the warehouse. Now all staff received the winter uniform. Also we installed coffee machine in the shelter. The whole team of the warehouse of the shelter says BIG THANK YOU for the coffee machine.
But experience of the Warehouse shows that to install a coffee machine in the cafeteria is a very costing thing. As the coffee is moving fast. 1 kg /week (10-15 people. For 60 people i believe around 5-7kg/week, so maybe around 500 Euro/Month just for coffee. And they said that they don’t know now if they afford it. Because now the shelter have lots of expences now. One of them is the electricity and gas bills which is now 3 or 4 times expensive than before.
Last week many power station in Ukraine were bombed. And since Moldova is connected to Ukraine and uses Ukraine power station, the electricity went out all over Moldova. But luckely after some time the electricity has been connected.
Thank you
