Thousands of families are struggling to recover from the disaster's aftermath. VOICE Trust, aims to support affected communities through a structured rehabilitation initiative focusing on shelter recovery, livelihood restoration, child education, and community resilience.
Over 200 families lost homes and essential belongings due to heavy winds and flooding. Fisherfolk, farmers, and daily wage workers lost their income sources. Children's education disrupted by damage to schools and loss of study materials. Health and sanitation risks increased due to contaminated water and poor access to medical care. Psychological trauma among children and elders due to loss and displacement.
Shelter Support: Provide essential repair materials and rebuild partially damaged houses. Livelihood Restoration: Supply seeds, livestock, nets, and micro-grants to restart small-scale incomes.
