This project wants to respond to the primary needs of food and health security of 150 children and their families who live in Mumbai, who are facing a very dramatic health crisis due to Covid 19.
Thousands of people die every day in India due to extreme poverty and diseases. To all this was added the Covid-19 pandemic, which with this third wave is plaguing a population already at the end of its strength. Hospitals in large cities find themselves without beds available and short of oxygen. Many families remain without treatments, the price of fuel and food has risen and unfortunately many people have lost their job. Schools are closed and thousands of children are without a safe shelter.
We want to bring "FOOD KIT" and "HEALTH KIT" to the children and their families supported by the project. With 12 dollars we donate a basic food kit to 1 child and his family to deal with the hunger emergency. With 30 dollars we donate a complete health kit to 1 child and his family to counter the spread of the virus. With 60 dollars we donate a complete food and health supply to 1 child and his family to cover their needs for 3 months.
Covid-19 has shown how each person is fragile in his or her human dimension. For Aleimar, children are the first people to protect. For this reason, this project will guarantee food and healthy security to 150 vulnerable children and their families in Mumbai, hoping for a as fast as possible recovery from this Covid-19 pandemic.
