This month, our team at Springs of Hope Foundation was able to distribute 60 food hampers to families living in Mashini, Lanet. Each hamper was filled with essentials like maize, beans, and green grams—simple items, but ones that mean the difference between going to bed hungry and having enough food on the table.
The families we reached included elderly grandparents caring for grandchildren, single mothers struggling to provide, and neighbors living with disabilities. For many, daily life is a balancing act between rent, school fees, and putting food on the table. These hampers bring a small but meaningful relief.
What made this distribution especially touching was the joy and gratitude we witnessed. One mother told us, “I was worried about how I would get through the week. This has lifted a heavy burden from me.” Another elderly gentleman smiled as he received his hamper, saying, “It may not seem like much, but to me it is everything.”
From all of us at Springs of Hope Foundation, thank you for making this possible. Your support continues to be a lifeline for the most vulnerable in our community.
