Concerning to the pandemic situation, there weren’t particular problems in Ethiopia: the numbers of infections are always had been low and, apart from small restrictions, the country has never been faced with lockdowns like those imposed on Europe.
However, the Ethiopian is worrying: the country has to manage a frail economic and social development, with a gap between the richer and poor that is widening further and further and a troubling unemployment. Moreover, the political situation of the country is always getting worse the already precarious conditions of the population.
For this reason, the work of our local partner is really important. Thanks, also, to your support, during this last months our local partner deliver food, blankets and beds to poor families of the village houses.
We have done so much, but there are still so many people to help! Continue to support Ethiopia!
