Emergency Tents for Displaced Families in Nigeria

Thousands of internally displaced families across Nigeria continue to face devastating humanitarian conditions caused by insecurity, violence, and forced displacement. Every day, vulnerable women, children, and elderly people sleep outdoors without protection from heavy rain, heat, disease, and insecurity.

Thanks to the growing visibility of this emergency relief project, we are now preparing for the first phase of emergency tent procurement and community coordination for displaced households most in need. Our team is working closely with local volunteers and community leaders to identify highly vulnerable internally displaced persons (IDPs), including widows, women-led households, families with infants, and survivors of conflict-related displacement.

These emergency shelter tents will provide the following:

• Safe temporary housing for displaced families
• Protection from harsh weather conditions
• Improved privacy and dignity for women and children
• Reduced exposure to illness and insecurity
• A safer environment while families rebuild their lives
