Naisp, 11 years old, has an absent father who has left family since 5 years ago, and joined our class in September, 2015.
“I have 6 kids and Nasip is my third child. He is a very quiet boy and doesn’t like to share his feelings or talk intimately with people. But I found that he has really enjoyed spending time in the class since last September. Now Nasip is a smiling, cheerful boy and he would show me photographs he took excitedly. I know photography has changed him a lot. When Nasip knew that his works can be seen on TFCF Photography Calendar, he was so happy to tell me this good news. I am grateful for TFCF’s help. You give me the opportunities to see the difference in my dear son, Naisp.”

With your donation, our first GlobalGiving project, Give a Music Magician to Developmental Delay Kids, has received over 100 donors’ contributions, and raised to 91% of the Goal, $10,000!You have encouraged us to keep moving forward, no matter how bumpy the road is. Now we have our 2nd project in GlobalGiving, Empower Disadvantaged Children through Photograph, which provided a way to empower needy children in Kyrgyzstan. We believe that children will be able to explore themselves and make a better future through photography project.
Project Update
Since the project started in February, we’ve organized 5 lessons for 30 children, including bunch of basic lessons on the principles of photography, and two outdoor photo taking activities. Furthermore, we also have integrated character education and taught kids many important values, including respecting and listening to others.
There are 13 children from Children Home and others are from families who are assisted by TFCF currently. Most are 9 to 16 years old. We’ve also invited Nasip’s mother to be our helper as a volunteer at the outdoor activities.
Moving Forward
We have always received a lot of positive feedback from children and families after class. We will keep our commitments and design the better course for children continually. Your donation will help us do more good things for needy children in Kyrgyzstan. TFCF wouldn’t be able to continue this valuable mission without generous people like you.
