Background
Since 2011, Action10, with the help of Human Rights & Science (HR&S), has been engaging and empowering marginalized people in Kenya's remote villages through the table banking model, which improves access to investment capital. This ensures that people, especially the poor, participate in economic activities that benefit both the person and society. As a result, these individuals are better equipped to combat poverty, maintain financial stability, and run profitable businesses.
Project update
A notable update since the last one is that our Team Kenya has been empowered by assigning a person responsible for Women Empowerment, Madame Ann CHEBET. Madame CHEBET possesses various central skills that are valuable in supporting our projects, with the following professional background:
A keen and responsible accounting professional with broad experience in compiling and analyzing financial information including monthly and annual reports and also ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and effectively deliver accounting services that will enhance the company's purpose and profitability.
Madame CHEBET has also dedicated her life towards women empowerment and has achieved amazing results.
She is now in direct contact with the Amani Women Groups and they are making strong plans about the future, by learning from lessons from the past.
