By Angelo Jose Afonso | Project Leader
On International Human Rights Day, AAAJC celebrates community achievements in Mozambique. A mother successfully registered her child with support from our free legal fair, ensuring dignity and access to basic rights. This simple act represents hope for families who have lived through conflict and displacement. At the same time, youth leaders gathered under trees and in community spaces to map local priorities, share experiences, and strengthen community justice. These circles of peace are not only meetings, but living examples of resilience and solidarity. Together, families and youth are building bridges of trust, creating safe spaces, and showing that justice can grow even in postconflict settings. AAAJC is proud to stand with them, empowering voices and protecting rights for a more peaceful future.
