Report - Learn about Gabriela

By Rosa Marcenaro | Project Leader

Gabriela
Gabriela

In Mujeres 2000, through the microloan program, we provide loans, training, advising to women living in poverty so that they can launch their own small business enterprises and generate extra household income. Our entrepreneurs live in communities with few formal work opportunities, and with additional income these women are better equipped to meet urgent needs such as providing themselves and their children with adequate meals, healthcare, education, and in turn, a more promising future.

Gabriela has a gastronomy venture. She has a successful business, offers a wide variety of pasta, a loyal local clientele, and a detailed understanding of both production and ingredients.

Like many Argentine entrepreneurs, not having bank financing, Gabriela needed a microloan to invest in her business. That is why she asked Mujeres 2000 for a Microloan.

Gabriela has already managed to use the credit for the purchase of inputs. She also participated of our workshops. ¡Look at her project!
