150 women who dared to dream bigger

By Belen Burgstaller | Belen Burgstaller

This year, 150 women from neighborhoods across Greater Buenos Aires came to MUJERES 2000 hoping to organize their ideas, build confidence, and take the next step with their ventures. They found a safe, supportive space—a place to look inward, name their dreams, and turn them into concrete plans. Between notebooks, mate, and shared laughter, many discovered they truly could: price their work, change what wasn’t working, and dare to grow.

In communication and social media, they made huge leaps. They created brand identities, built content calendars, and launched into online sales. That first sale on Instagram or WhatsApp wasn’t just income—it was a boost to their self-esteem. With each post, they improved their presentation, learned to tell their story, and reached new customers.

Using the Business Model Canvas as a roadmap, they reviewed their value proposition, sales channels, and key activities. Many reorganized their businesses, spotted opportunities, and finally took long-delayed steps: switching suppliers, adding a hero product, formalizing payment methods. In finance, they learned to calculate costs and prices, identify their break-even point, and plan ahead. That “clear number” gave them more than order—it gave them the confidence to decide.

None of this would be possible without people like you. Your support helped more women strengthen their projects, generate income, and build economic autonomy for themselves and their families. Thank you for believing, for showing up, and for pushing alongside us. What starts in a classroom multiplies in every home, every fair, and every sale that opens a different future.
