Dear friends,
Although more disturbing news comes from Ukraine, we want to please you a little. Thanks to your donations, we have purchased 4 PCs and peripherals for Women's Protection Center.
We connected the Internet to them, installed the software. Mentors teach 7 women - clients of the shelter of digital literacy. It will be easier for them to learn useful information, find a job, learn new skills and become more resilient. In particular, women are learning how to sell for a social enterprise, which was created on the basis of the Protection Center. Their children study remotely at school and attend online classes on these computers.
However, the extremely tense situation associated with Russia's military invasion of Ukraine forces us to urgently mobilize. We don't know what tomorrow will bring us. We are planning the possible evacuation of women with children from our shelter in Odessa to a safe location. Odessa city near the Black sea and Crimea is the zone of greatest risk according to military experts. In order to move to another house in a village outside the city, we need additional resources and funds.
We cannot allow Ukrainian women who have already experienced violence in their lives to be at risk and re-traumatized!
Please help us with your donation and pray for Ukraine today!
