This project empowers Zambian entrepreneurs by providing business loans and financial literacy training, enabling them to grow sustainable businesses, create local jobs, and reduce poverty. Your support helps build resilient local economies and drives long-term community development across Zambia.
While Zambia grapples with widespread poverty, its entrepreneurial spirit remains unbroken. Zambia's economy has traditionally relied on mineral mining, making it vulnerable to global commodity price fluctuations. This dependence has created an urgent need for economic diversification through small business development. Agriculture employs the majority of Zambians, yet most farming remains subsistence-level due to limited access to capital, technology, and markets.
The project tackles key barriers by offering business loans and tailored financial literacy training. Entrepreneurs gain access to capital for equipment, inventory, and expansion, while learning to budget, plan, and respond to market shifts. This combined support helps them move beyond subsistence, grow stable businesses, create jobs, and contribute to long-term community resilience and economic diversification.
By giving entrepreneurs the tools to invest in equipment, inventory, and new opportunities, the project helps them grow beyond survival-level business. Over time, these micro-entrepreneurs create stable incomes, generate employment, and strengthen local economies. With continued access to capital and training, their success multiplies-leading to resilient, self-sustaining communities across Zambia.
