Mentee Spotlight – Hasmik T.
"Nor Luyce is extremely important for all of us - both mentees and mentors. Having been a mentee myself, I feel deeply connected to Nor Luyce, and it holds a very special place in my life. I learned important lessons, gained valuable knowledge, made new friends, and overcame my insecurities. Now, as a mentor, I strive to help my mentee navigate the challenges of adolescence. The mission of Nor Luyce is incredibly important, and with our continued efforts, we can help teenagers across the Republic become confident, goal-oriented, and resilient individuals." - Hasmik Tarboshyan
In the past three months, Nor Luyce has continued to make a strong impact on teenagers and mentors alike. During this quarter:
Our Mentoring phase hosted 965 individual meetings (1,930 hours), alongside 3 group sessions (6 hours) where mentees explored self-esteem, emotional expression, and tools to overcome fear. These sessions empowered mentor-mentee pairs to understand and manage their emotions more effectively.
Mentors attended 4 ongoing trainings (8 hours) on overcoming fear, understanding neurosis, handwriting nuances, and 7 steps for overcoming trauma, gaining new skills to better guide their mentees.
Skills Development phase mentees took part in 8 group meetings (16 hours), learning public speaking, problem-solving, personal growth, and career orientation. Together with Mentoring phase mentees, they joined 3 general group meetings (6 hours), creating friendships and building strong social foundations.
Higher Education phase mentees were inspired by the stories of 2 actors, 2 singers, and 3 bloggers (14 hours total) from Armenia, gaining motivation for personal and professional growth.
Our active mentees also enjoyed entertaining and educational sessions (6 hours) featuring interactive games, educational activities, and film screenings, keeping learning fun and engaging.
Altogether, over 50 mentors and more than 100 mentees participated in this quarter’s programs, strengthening skills, building confidence, and forming lasting connections.
Nor Luyce continues to empower teenagers to overcome challenges, discover their potential, and become resilient, goal-oriented members of our community.
