Items helped raise funds in Canada
Dear Project Supporters,
Many of the items created during vocational training were well received and helped raise funds over the past few months at fundraising exhibits held in Canada. NewLife Project graced these events and shared its vision through displays.
Five ladies enrolled in our new basic computer classes were trained in MS Word and Excel acquiring the needed technology skills to secure permanent employment through our job placement program. Interest in our vocational training has spread in the community since the addition of computer classes.
We are presently reaching out to ladies in Bracodie, in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. These ladies need your support and love. Allow your healing and loving hands to rescue a woman at risk.
Once again on behalf of our ladies in Cote d’Ivoire, we want to express our appreciation for your support. YOUR generosity made this happen!
Going forward, we have decided to phase out or deactivate this project. We are currently running into a problem with getting timely reports back from the field. If we are able to re-establish a smooth and uninterrupted flow of communication, we may start a new project or re-activate this project.
Best Regards,
Develop Africa team

New Computers Received
Dear Project Supporters,
Thanks to your generous support, we acquired two new computers and added computer training to our vocational curriculum since our last report. Our new basic computer classes will include training in MS Word and Excel to provide our ladies with the needed technology skills to secure permanent employment through our job placement program. We have classroom capacity that will accommodate 10 ladies - 5 are currently enrolled. Our goal is to equip the class with 5 additional computers and hire a second teacher to fill in for the part-time tutor. The additional computers will facilitate the training program and provide more opportunities for our beneficiaries.
This training program will keep our ladies abreast with the modern day technology which has been a challenge for them during their internship graduate programs when assigned for job placement in various companies. There is a great advantage when ladies are computer literate and we hope that we will be able to secure the funds to increase the learning capacity of this program.
Interest in our vocational training has spread in the community since the addition of computer classes. We will have radio publicity for two weeks to encourage more ladies to participate. And, our staff of three are actively involved in the effort to bring more awareness to our vocational training programs and motivate more beneficiaries.
We look forward to a lasting academic development. Once again on behalf of our ladies in Cote d’Ivoire, we want to express our appreciation for your continued support. YOUR generosity made this happen!
Best Regards,
Develop Africa team

Two Women Small Business Owners Receive Assistance
By Brenda Williams | Project Leader

Beneficiaries
Thank YOU for your generous support. Because of YOU, our project organized new training sessions in adult literacy, Mathematics, and Tie Dye. Ladies attending classes in Tie Dye were enabled to start a small business that will help develop their economic independence and self-esteem.
Our partners, ‘Women with a Mssion for Development in Cote d’Ivoire’ and New Life Project Inc. provided support to two women small business owners in need of financial help. The assistance they received enabled them to boost their income generating activity and help finance the education of their daughters.
Our ladies are grateful for all the support they have received and the difference it is making in their lives. It has motivated them to pursue their dreams, develop their independence, and support their family and society.
From heartfelt appreciation, we thank you for your continued support.
