Give Them Hope Women at Skills Workshop
Give Them Hope, Inc. has decisively mobilized rural women and girls in rural Liberia by engaging these women and girls in skills training at a lower level since we have not reached our target funding goal for large-scale vocational skills training. We have had mobilization workshops encouraging the women to turn out at scheduled locations in the numbers of 25-30 to undergo skills training in improved methods of gardening that will combat the effect and impact of climate change at the local level. We also trained some of these women in making soap, pastry, and small business skills management.
We have not reached our fundraising goal, but we are using the available resources, skills, and resolve to provide these very vulnerable rural women and girls the skills and knowledge that they need to improve their lives and increase their income capacity.

Training Rural Women and Girls by Give Them Hope,
Rural women and girls in rural Liberia continue to battle with multiple poverty issues because of the lack of income-generating skills and abilities. Rural women and girls are discriminated against with no equal rights all because of the lack of good financial status. Give Them Hope, Inc has been changing the story around by providing these very vulnerable rural women and girls with marketable vocational skills that they overcome multi-dimensional poverty and inequalities. We provide vocational training in pastry, soap making, gardening, and cattle raising so that these impoverished rural populations combat generational poverty which is the usual trend for rural women and girls. We conduct training also in small business management. We provide a wider platform to empower and equip these women to escape extreme poverty and gender-based violence all associated with low-income status. See some of our photos in the villages and even on the farms to ensure that these victims of years of war and the Ebola and Coronavirus are empowered and equipped with the needed skills and knowledge to reach their potential in life. See attached some of our training photos.

Learning to Make Different Kinds of Bread
Liberia went through fifteen years of war and rural women and girls were the direct victims. The project is providing women and girls with permanent skills that they can translate into economic empowerment. The skills become a major economic access platform for these women. Since we have not raised the needed funds, we have begun training these women in small groups with the hope that when we raise our target, we will then equip 150 of these impoverished women with skills for economic empowerment.
Women and girls in rural Liberia gripple with extreme poverty, inequality, and neglect all because they are from low economic backgrounds. with no vocational skills. We are creating a new platform through this project that women regain their values, respect, and dignity by using their skills for economic empowerment.
These women can provide for the fees of their kids at schools and clinics and further independently cater to the needs of their households.
