Dear Friends,
We are grateful for your generous support of our efforts to end child marriage and empower girls in rural Uganda. Your contributions continue to create opportunities for vulnerable girls to remain in school and build brighter futures.
This reporting period focused on supporting girls who face increased risks of early marriage due to poverty, family pressures, and social expectations. Through mentorship programs and community outreach activities, girls received encouragement and practical guidance to help them stay focused on their education.
Parents and caregivers participated in educational discussions highlighting the benefits of delaying marriage and investing in girls' learning. Many families expressed renewed commitment to supporting their daughters' academic journeys.
The project also strengthened collaboration with local schools. Teachers worked closely with project staff to identify students at risk of dropping out and connect them with available support systems. These partnerships have helped improve school attendance and engagement.
Girls attending life-skills sessions gained valuable knowledge about self-esteem, decision-making, leadership, and goal setting. Many participants shared aspirations of becoming teachers, nurses, business owners, and community leaders.
Community leaders continue to play an important role in advocating for children's rights and promoting positive social change. Their leadership is helping challenge harmful practices and encourage greater protection for girls.
Your support is making a meaningful difference in the lives of countless young people. Every girl who remains in school represents hope, opportunity, and progress toward a future free from child marriage.
Thank you for helping us create lasting change.
