The Girl Child Foundation Uganda is committed to protecting vulnerable girls from early child marriage by supporting their continued education.
As part of this commitment, we provided school uniforms to girls who faced financial barriers to attending school comfortably and consistently.
Uniforms may appear simple, but for a struggling household they can represent an important educational expense.
By addressing this need, we helped girls remain connected to school and encouraged families to prioritize their daughters’ education.
Education provides girls with knowledge, confidence, life skills, and greater opportunities for economic independence. It can also help delay early marriage and reduce vulnerability to exploitation.
Through partnerships with generous donors and community members, we continue to invest in practical solutions that keep girls learning.
Every uniform provided represents encouragement, dignity, and another step toward a future where girls can reach their full potential.
