Dear Donors,
We are pleased to share another update on the progress of our project to end child marriage in rural Uganda. Your continued support is helping create safe pathways for girls to remain in school and pursue brighter futures.
This reporting period included community awareness activities aimed at addressing the root causes of child marriage. Through discussions with families and local leaders, we emphasized the importance of protecting girls and promoting equal access to education.
Our mentorship program continued to provide guidance and encouragement to girls facing social and economic challenges. Participants learned valuable life skills, including communication, problem-solving, and personal development.
Many girls shared their educational goals and expressed greater confidence in pursuing them. Their determination reflects the positive impact of ongoing support and community engagement.
Parents who attended awareness sessions demonstrated increased understanding of the risks associated with child marriage. Several families reported making commitments to prioritize education and delay marriage for their daughters.
Schools remain important partners in identifying vulnerable students and supporting their academic success. Teachers continue to observe positive improvements in student engagement and motivation.
Community leaders have also become stronger advocates for child protection, helping raise awareness and encourage reporting of child marriage cases.
While challenges persist, the project continues to generate positive change. Together, we are helping girls stay in school, develop their talents, and build the foundations for successful futures.
Thank you for your invaluable partnership and commitment to this important mission
