Dear Friends,
We extend our sincere gratitude for your ongoing support of our efforts to end early child marriage in rural Uganda. Your generosity is helping communities protect girls and promote their right to education.
During this reporting period, local leaders played a significant role in advancing project goals. Village leaders, teachers, and community representatives participated in awareness campaigns focused on child protection and girls' empowerment.
These leaders have become influential advocates for positive change, encouraging families to keep girls in school and reject harmful practices that limit their potential. Their involvement has strengthened community ownership of child protection initiatives.
Girls participating in project activities attended mentorship sessions where they learned about leadership, self-confidence, and educational planning. Many participants expressed renewed determination to continue their studies and achieve their dreams.
Parents and caregivers engaged in discussions about the importance of investing in girls' futures. Increased awareness has encouraged many families to view education as a pathway to long-term success and community development.
Schools reported encouraging improvements in attendance among girls benefiting from project interventions. Teachers continue to work closely with project staff to identify and support vulnerable students.
The growing collaboration between community members, schools, and local leaders is creating an environment where girls can thrive and reach their full potential.
Your support remains essential to this progress. Together, we are helping build communities that respect children's rights, value education, and provide opportunities for girls to succeed.
Thank you for making this work possible.
