End Early Child Marriage in rural Uganda

Thank you for your unwavering support of our End Early Child Marriage in Rural Uganda project. Your generosity continues to bring hope and opportunity to vulnerable girls who face significant barriers to education and personal development.

During this reporting period, we expanded outreach efforts aimed at increasing awareness about child marriage and promoting girls' rights. Community meetings provided opportunities for parents, youth, and local leaders to discuss solutions that support children's well-being and educational success.

Girls participating in the project received mentorship, guidance, and encouragement to help them overcome challenges and remain focused on their goals. Through life-skills training, participants developed confidence, leadership abilities, and greater awareness of their rights.

Many families have demonstrated increased commitment to supporting girls' education. Parents are becoming more aware of the long-term benefits that education provides, both for individual children and for entire communities.

Teachers continue to report positive changes among supported students, including improved attendance, stronger participation, and greater motivation to learn. These outcomes highlight the importance of continued investment in girls' education.

Community leaders have strengthened local child protection efforts and encouraged greater accountability in addressing child marriage concerns. Their involvement is helping create safer and more supportive environments for girls.
