End Early Child Marriage in rural Uganda

One of the most encouraging outcomes of this project is seeing girls develop the confidence to speak up for themselves and take charge of their futures. Through ongoing mentorship sessions, participants were provided with safe and supportive spaces where they could openly discuss challenges, share experiences, build leadership skills, and learn more about their rights and opportunities.

Many girls reported feeling more empowered to pursue their education, set personal goals, and resist pressures that could lead to early marriage. They are gaining the knowledge and confidence needed to make informed decisions about their lives and future aspirations. Community members, parents, teachers, and local leaders continue to support these efforts through awareness campaigns, advocacy activities, and ongoing engagement.

Together, these initiatives are creating a more supportive environment where girls can thrive, remain in school, and achieve their full potential.
