End Early Child Marriage in rural Uganda

Thank you for your continued support of our End Early Child Marriage in Rural Uganda project. Your generosity is helping girls realize their potential and take meaningful steps toward brighter futures through education.

During this reporting period, our project focused on strengthening mentorship and educational support for vulnerable girls. Through regular life-skills sessions, girls received guidance on leadership, self-confidence, communication, and decision-making. These sessions encouraged participants to recognize their strengths and believe in their abilities.

Many girls expressed increased motivation to stay in school and work toward their academic goals. Despite challenges such as poverty and social pressure, they continue to show resilience and determination.

Community outreach activities engaged parents, caregivers, and local leaders in discussions about the importance of girls’ education. These conversations reinforced the need to protect girls from early marriage and support their long-term development.

Teachers reported improvements in attendance, classroom participation, and engagement among girls benefiting from the project. Schools remain key partners in identifying vulnerable students and ensuring they receive the necessary support.

Community leaders also strengthened advocacy efforts aimed at promoting child protection and encouraging education for all children. Their involvement is helping create safer and more supportive environments.

Every girl who discovers her potential becomes a source of hope for her community. With your support, more girls are gaining the confidence and opportunities they need to succeed.
