Dear Donors and Supporters,
Thank you for your continued commitment to our End Early Child Marriage in Rural Uganda project. Your generous support is helping girls build confidence and shape brighter futures through education and mentorship.
During this reporting period, our project focused on strengthening girls’ self-esteem and personal development through structured mentorship sessions. Girls participated in activities that encouraged self-reflection, goal setting, and positive decision-making. These sessions helped them recognize their strengths and understand their potential.
Many participants shared that they now feel more confident speaking up in class and participating in school activities. This growing confidence is helping them stay focused on their education despite challenges such as poverty and social pressure.
Community engagement activities brought together parents, teachers, and local leaders to discuss the importance of supporting girls’ education. These discussions reinforced the need to protect girls from early marriage and create environments where they can succeed.
Teachers reported improved classroom participation and attendance among girls benefiting from the project. Schools continue to play an essential role in identifying vulnerable learners and providing necessary support.
Local leaders also strengthened advocacy efforts, encouraging communities to prioritize education and child protection. Their involvement is helping build stronger support systems for girls.
Confidence is a key foundation for success. Through your support, girls are gaining the belief in themselves needed to pursue education and achieve their dreams.
Thank you for helping us build confident girls and stronger futures.
