EDUCATION AS A TOOL FOR EMPOWERMENT

By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader

Dear Supporters,

We sincerely appreciate your continued support of our efforts to end child marriage and promote education for girls in rural Uganda. Your generosity is helping education serve as a powerful tool for empowerment.

This reporting period focused on strengthening girls' access to education and reinforcing the importance of staying in school. Community awareness activities encouraged parents and leaders to prioritize education and protect girls from harmful practices.

Girls participating in mentorship programs continued to receive training in leadership, communication, and life skills. These sessions helped build their confidence and encouraged them to pursue long-term educational goals.

Many girls expressed hope and determination to complete their education and build successful futures. Their resilience reflects the positive impact of consistent mentorship and community support.

Teachers reported encouraging improvements in attendance and engagement among supported students. Schools continue to play a vital role in supporting vulnerable learners and promoting academic success.

Community leaders have also strengthened advocacy efforts aimed at protecting children and promoting education. Their involvement is helping foster environments where girls are valued and supported.

Education remains one of the most effective tools for empowering girls and transforming communities. Through your support, more girls are gaining access to opportunities that can change their lives.

Thank you for helping us use education as a tool for empowerment.
