End Early Child Marriage in rural Uganda

Thank you for your continued support of our End Early Child Marriage in Rural Uganda project. Your generosity is helping girls become leaders in their schools, families, and communities.

During this reporting period, mentorship and life-skills sessions focused strongly on leadership development. Girls learned about communication, teamwork, self-awareness, and decision-making, which helped them build confidence in their abilities.

Many participants began taking on more active roles in school activities and discussions. Their growing confidence is helping them inspire peers and contribute positively to their learning environments.

Community outreach activities engaged parents and leaders in conversations about the importance of girls' education and child protection. These discussions reinforced the message that girls deserve equal opportunities to learn and succeed.

Teachers reported improvements in classroom participation and motivation among girls involved in the project. Students demonstrated greater enthusiasm for learning and a stronger commitment to completing their education.

Community leaders continued to support child protection efforts and advocate for girls' rights. Their involvement is helping create safe spaces where girls can lead and thrive.

When girls are empowered to lead, entire communities benefit. Their voices, ideas, and ambitions are shaping a brighter future for all.
