End Early Child Marriage in rural Uganda

Throughout this reporting period, our project continued to provide mentorship, educational encouragement, and community awareness activities designed to support girls' development. These initiatives help participants gain the skills and confidence needed to become future leaders in their communities.

Girls involved in mentorship programs learned about leadership, teamwork, communication, and decision-making. Many participants demonstrated increased confidence and expressed strong ambitions to pursue careers that will allow them to serve and inspire others.

Parents and caregivers participated in discussions focused on the importance of girls' education and the need to protect children from early marriage. These conversations encouraged families to support their daughters' educational journeys and invest in their futures.

Schools reported positive progress among students benefiting from project activities. Improved attendance, stronger engagement in classroom learning, and greater academic motivation were observed across several participating schools.

Community leaders remained active advocates for children's rights and educational opportunities. Their efforts continue to strengthen child protection systems and encourage communities to prioritize education.
