Dear Supporters,
We sincerely appreciate your continued support of our efforts to end child marriage and build safer communities for girls in rural Uganda. Your generosity is helping strengthen child protection systems and create environments where girls can thrive.
During this reporting period, our project focused on raising awareness about children's rights and encouraging community responsibility in protecting vulnerable girls. Parents, teachers, local leaders, and youth participated in discussions aimed at preventing child marriage and promoting education.
Community members demonstrated increased awareness of the risks associated with early marriage and the importance of keeping girls in school. Many participants pledged to support efforts that safeguard children and create opportunities for educational success.
Girls enrolled in mentorship programs continued to benefit from life-skills training and emotional support. These sessions helped participants build confidence, develop leadership abilities, and strengthen their resilience in the face of challenges.
Schools remain key partners in promoting child protection and educational achievement. Teachers reported positive changes in attendance and classroom participation among girls involved in project activities.
Local leaders have strengthened their advocacy efforts and continue to encourage reporting of child marriage cases. Their involvement is helping build communities where children's rights are respected and protected.
While challenges remain, we are encouraged by the growing commitment to creating safer environments for girls. Together, we are helping communities become stronger advocates for children's well-being and future success.
Thank you for making this progress possible through your generous support.
