Dear Friends,
We are grateful for your continued support of our efforts to end child marriage in rural Uganda. Your generosity is helping us build stronger support systems that protect vulnerable girls and promote educational success.
Throughout this reporting period, we strengthened collaboration among schools, parents, community leaders, and local stakeholders. These partnerships are critical in identifying girls at risk of early marriage and ensuring they receive the support they need to remain in school.
Community meetings provided opportunities to discuss challenges facing girls and explore practical solutions. Parents learned about the importance of education and how they can contribute to their children's success. Many expressed a renewed commitment to prioritizing learning and delaying marriage for their daughters.
Mentorship sessions continued to play an important role in empowering girls. Participants gained valuable life skills, including communication, leadership, and problem-solving. These sessions also encouraged girls to develop confidence and believe in their ability to achieve personal and academic goals.
Teachers reported positive changes among participating students, including improved attendance, greater classroom engagement, and stronger motivation to learn. Such outcomes demonstrate the value of providing holistic support to vulnerable children.
Community leaders have also become more active in promoting child protection and raising awareness about the harmful effects of child marriage. Their advocacy is helping create safer and more supportive environments for girls.
Together, we are building a network of support that encourages girls to stay in school and pursue their dreams. Thank you for making this progress possible through your continued generosity.
