Dear Donors and Partners,
We are grateful for your continued support in helping keep girls safe, educated, and empowered. Your generosity remains essential in our efforts to prevent child marriage and promote educational opportunities in rural Uganda.
During this reporting period, our team conducted awareness campaigns that reached parents, teachers, youth, and local leaders. Discussions focused on the importance of education, children's rights, and the need to protect girls from harmful practices that threaten their futures.
Mentorship and life-skills sessions provided girls with knowledge, encouragement, and practical tools to overcome challenges. Participants learned about leadership, self-confidence, goal setting, and personal responsibility. These sessions continue to inspire girls to stay focused on their education and future aspirations.
Community members increasingly recognize the value of educating girls. Many families have demonstrated stronger commitment to supporting their daughters' academic journeys and delaying marriage until adulthood.
Teachers reported encouraging progress among participating students. Improved attendance, increased classroom engagement, and stronger motivation to learn were observed across several schools involved in the project.
Local leaders have also strengthened child protection efforts by promoting awareness and encouraging the reporting of child marriage cases. Their support is helping build communities that prioritize the safety and well-being of children.
While challenges remain, we continue to witness positive change. Together, we are creating environments where girls can remain safe, complete their education, and pursue their dreams.
Thank you for helping us make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable girls.
