Dear Donors and Supporters,
Thank you for your continued support of our End Early Child Marriage in Rural Uganda project. Your generosity continues to encourage educational success among vulnerable girls and strengthen efforts to protect them from early marriage.
During this reporting period, our project focused on promoting school attendance, academic engagement, and personal development among girls facing social and economic challenges. Through mentorship activities and community outreach programs, we encouraged students to remain committed to their education despite obstacles they may encounter.
Girls participating in mentorship sessions received guidance on goal setting, leadership, and decision-making. These sessions provided opportunities for participants to discuss challenges affecting their education and identify practical ways to overcome them. Many girls reported increased confidence and a stronger determination to pursue their dreams.
Parents and caregivers also participated in awareness meetings that highlighted the importance of education in creating opportunities for young people. These discussions encouraged families to prioritize schooling and support their daughters' educational aspirations.
Teachers reported encouraging improvements in attendance and classroom participation among girls involved in project activities. Several students demonstrated greater confidence in expressing themselves and engaging in learning opportunities.
Community leaders continued to advocate for child protection and girls' rights, helping reinforce messages about the importance of keeping girls in school and preventing child marriage.
The progress we are witnessing reflects the power of education to transform lives and create hope for the future. Every girl who remains in school gains valuable knowledge, skills, and opportunities that can positively impact her future.
Thank you for helping us encourage educational success and empower girls to achieve their full potential.
