Welcome to our report. Through each story, we aim to show you how your support leads to tangible progress for our young university students. They exemplify that education and empowerment are essential for breaking the cycle of poverty and creating a more just society.

Success Story

Jessica comes from a little rural community in the state of Guanajuato. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Network Design and Management, achieving a GPA of A. We are confident that her future will be filled with many more achievements and successes.

"My life before discovering the Gibson Soto Foundation was quite simple. I lived in a small rural community and had a dream of pursuing my education. However, my economic, social, and environmental circumstances made it difficult, as attending college is not common for young women in my area. Despite these challenges, I remained persistent and kept my dream alive, hoping to one day earn a professional degree.

Finding the Gibson Soto Foundation completely changed my life. Being part of their program and living in their facilities, La Cima IAP, significantly helped me develop my autonomy, leadership skills, and commitment. It strengthened my resolve to continue working towards my dreams and not to give up. I want to set an example for the girls and boys in my community, encouraging them to persevere and strive for their own dreams.

I am immensely grateful to the Gibson Soto Foundation for the support they provided during my time there—not only financially but also in terms of emotional and social encouragement. I also want to thank the young women who shared this journey with me; they became my family away from home. I hope that my friendship has also played a supportive role in their development.

In the future, I aspire to contribute by supporting the Gibson Soto Foundation and helping students from rural communities have the same opportunities I received."
