"During my time at the facilities of the Gibson Soto Foundation in Mexico, La Cima IAP, I met incredible girls who earned a special place in my heart, and I will undoubtedly always remember them. I hope I have left a positive mark on their lives. Through my example, I want them to see that with effort and perseverance, achieving our goals and dreams is possible. They, like me, carry enormous dreams that deserve to come true. The support I received at La Cima was unlike anything I had experienced before. They took the time to ask how I felt, to listen to me, and to respond accordingly. I realized that everyone experiences their own journey in a unique way, and we should not compare our stories. Looking back, my life before arriving at La Cima was quite routine. It didn’t leave much room for personal growth or connections with others. For a long time, I doubted whether the place I was in was the only way to achieve my dreams. Today, I know that when you dare to let go and embrace change, everything begins to transform. What once seemed dark and formless started to take on light and color with my arrival at La Cima. La Cima entered my life at the perfect moment; it helped me finish my degree and take the next steps toward working in the field I love. Today, I can confidently say that I am a more mature, empathetic, responsible person, aware of the impact I can have on others. I hope my time at La Cima has left a lasting impression, serving as a reminder to those who follow that it is possible and worthwhile to fight for what we are passionate about. Thank you to La Cima for your beautiful mission of supporting young people like me in continuing their education and fighting for a better future. Thank you for believing in me, for motivating me to improve, and for training me to be an agent of change. I am grateful for every workshop, every talk, every scholarship, every transportation support... but, above all, thank you for making me feel at home and providing me with a place in your community. I feel infinitely thankful for the wonderful people I met, the friendships I formed, the lessons I learned, and the memories I will always cherish. Today, I dare to say that I am a more mature, aware, empathetic, and confident person with a clear understanding of what I want. I am also committed to giving back some of what I received. Thank you, La Cima, for being such an important part of my journey. I am very happy to have been part of the fourth generation. Learn more about the La Cima IAP program, join our community of donors, and help transform the life of a young woman."
