Dear Donor,
Greetings from our project in Queretaro, Mexico. We hope you and your family are doing great! As always, it is a pleasure to share with you news from our students.
In February, the universities in Mexico returned to in-person classes. Our students are delighted to return to our La Cima IAP facilities. We celebrated our return together with our English teachers in a beautiful gathering.
One of our students shared the challenges she faced in 2021 -during the pandemic- and how, with your help, we supported her to overcome them.
"I had the challenge of learning English. Gibson Soto Foundation helps me through classes.
I had the challenge of computer jobs and taking online courses. Gibson Soto Foundation helped me providing a computer to do my work and take classes.
I had the challenge to motivate myself to have good habits. Gibson Soto Foundation helped me by giving me workshops that inspire me to take care of every aspect of my life.
I had the challenge of suffering from a skin injury. Gibson Soto Foundation helped me with financial support to treat me.
I had the challenge of needing various school supplies, and Gibson Soto Foundation always supported me.
I had the challenge of returning home with my family when I only spent weekends with them, the challenge of organizing my housework, the challenge of spending time with them without neglecting my study time. Gibson Soto Foundation helped me with various workshops like managing time to function well in each area and balance my life.
I had the challenge of studying at home and not having an acoustic piano. Gibson Soto Foundation helped me by giving me one for which I am very grateful.
I had the challenge of facing the pandemic and losing contact with many loved ones. Gibson Soto Foundation offered me professional therapy and emotional intelligence workshops to cope with any situation.
I had the challenge of developing a community project, and Gibson Soto Foundation offered me an entrepreneurship course with a professional accompaniment.
I had the challenge to seek peace in my life despite the chaos of the pandemic, and Gibson Soto Foundation offered me workshops where I learned to meditate, to be more aware of what is happening to me and my environment.
I am grateful to have people who support me to finish my degree, care about covering the financial aspect that it entails, and care about my personal development in all areas of my life. I appreciate the opportunity to help me be the best version of myself and to be able to support others through my community project. Thank you for teaching me that we can transcend through small good actions. With your example, I appreciate your trust in me".
Thank you for your constant support!
