Success Story. Dalia

Success Stories. DALIA

Today, we celebrate our student Dalia, who has graduated with academic excellence, earning a Bachelor's degree in Educational and Curricular Institutional Management and successfully completing her comprehensive training program at our facilities in Mexico La Cima IAP.

Seeing Dalia today as a financially independent professional, working in her field of study, is living proof of our Mission. When a young woman from a rural community gains access to higher education, a safe home, and profound human development, she not only transforms her own life; she breaks the cycle of generational poverty. Her success becomes a beacon of hope for her family and a driving force for change in her community. This is the true systemic impact we work for every day!

Nothing describes this beautiful journey better than Dalia's own words. We share her testimony—a reflection of her mind, her heart, and her immense courage:

"The greatest transformation lies within my name. I entered the institution as Dalia. Two years later, a TSU (Technical University Degree) in English was added before my name. That first degree is more than just academic; it also represents my courage to leave the comfort of my home and go out to find and build my own future. I also managed to grow in other ways, such as understanding that there are more than 300 emotions—socio-emotional skills that support me not only in feeling well, but also in being fully present.

I remember the many English classes, workshops on human development, time management, personal finances, and the community development program. Every one of them contributed to those letters before my name. Now I have a Bachelor's Degree in Educational and Curricular Institutional Management—a very long name, but one that reflects my entire journey.

My greatest achievements are entering and graduating from La Cima, completing my university education, and learning more about my body—from the physical to the emotional. Getting a job and being offered a one-year contract, improving my English, exploring the world of co-responsibility, active listening, and generative dialogue, as well as creating and carrying out a project in my community—all of these are tools I carry with me every day.

I hope the Gibson Soto Foundation will exist forever, and that every time I visit the web page, I will see more stories of successful and happy graduates thriving in their personal and professional development. For now, I would like to contribute  with monthly donations, hoping that each year I can give a little more."

Congratulations, Dalia! Your excellence and generosity. Your legacy is just beginning.
