What would happen if we took one thousand children in vulnerable conditions and gave them new information through educational experiences to help them change their future and the future of the planet?In only a few years, today's children will be the community members, citizens, and leaders of tomorrow who will be responsible for addressing climate change in their cities. We want educate one thousand children using disruptive methods about personal actions to achieve our vision.
Children are often excluded from the discussion on climate change and aren't made aware of the impact their actions can have on their communities and the broader move towards a low carbon future. They need to be brought together and given the space to work for the development of their neighborhoods, with the aim of developing capacities and promoting tools that will have the largest impact in their communities. We will implement a scalable model to educate children in schools through art, tech and disruptive strategies oriented at adopting sustainable behaviors. We will provide a series of workshops with experts and change-makers to inspire children and establish a mentoring program in different areas, and we will co-create scalable and low cost solutions for their schools in areas like agriculture, renewable energy, waste management, sustainable construction, sustainable transport, water management.
