Story / Update

Access to safe and reliable water remains a major challenge for many communities in Balochistan, particularly in areas where families have limited access to adequate water infrastructure.

To help address this essential need, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan inaugurated a new water well in District Noshki, Balochistan, benefiting approximately 150 families in the local community.

The newly inaugurated well will provide families with a more accessible and reliable source of water for their daily household needs. Improved access to water can also help reduce the time and effort required to collect water, particularly for families who previously depended on distant or limited sources.

Through its Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) initiatives, Alkhidmat continues to develop sustainable water solutions for underserved communities across Pakistan, helping families gain better access to one of life’s most essential necessities.

Alkhidmat Foundation has successfully completed the construction of a Water Well in Village Doraan Tangi, UC & Tehsil Shahrag, District Harnai, Balochistan, providing reliable access to safe and clean drinking water for more than 280 community members.

Story / Update

For many families in the remote areas of Harnai, access to safe drinking water has long been a daily challenge. Residents often had to travel considerable distances to collect water, exposing them to health risks and consuming valuable time.

To address this critical need, Alkhidmat Foundation successfully constructed a Water Well in Village Doraan Tangi, ensuring a dependable and sustainable source of clean drinking water for the local community. The project will directly benefit over 280 people, improving access to safe water for drinking, cooking, and daily household use.

Reliable access to clean water will help reduce the incidence of waterborne diseases, improve sanitation and hygiene practices, and enhance the overall quality of life for families in the village. This initiative is part of Alkhidmat’s ongoing efforts to address water scarcity in remote and underserved regions, ensuring vulnerable communities have sustainable access to safe and clean water.

Story / Update

In the remote areas of District Ghizer, Gilgit-Baltistan, access to clean drinking water has long been a serious challenge. Families were forced to rely on unsafe water sources, exposing them to waterborne diseases and daily hardships.

To resolve this critical issue, Alkhidmat Foundation constructed a new community water well to provide a safe and reliable source of clean water. This well now ensures easy and sustainable access to drinking water for local residents, significantly improving their daily lives.
