This project aims to equip the kitchen of the 'LEVE-MOI' orphanage in Goma, helping to provide safe, nutritious meals for over 100 orphaned children, aged 1 to 16. By providing appropriate cooking utensils and ensuring a safe environment for food preparation, we will protect the staff from burn hazards and guarantee that the children receive properly prepared meals in hygienic conditions.
The orphanage 'LEVE-MOI' in Goma currently lacks the proper kitchen equipment needed to safely prepare nutritious meals for the 100+ children it supports. Without proper cooking utensils and a safe cooking environment, staff and children are at risk of injuries, and the quality of the meals may be compromised. This affects the children's health and well-being.
By equipping the orphanage kitchen with essential tools, including protective cooking gear, the staff will be able to prepare meals safely. The children will benefit from properly cooked, nutritious food, ensuring their physical health and providing a safer environment for those involved in food preparation. This initiative will improve both the quality of life and the safety of the children at 'LEVE-MOI'.
This project will provide long-term benefits by ensuring the safety and well-being of the orphaned children. By improving meal preparation conditions, the children will be healthier and better nourished. In the long run, this will lead to stronger, more resilient children, capable of thriving in their community. The improved kitchen environment also creates a sustainable solution for future generations of children at the orphanage.
