Ensuring no child left behind

By Sseguya Ivan | Project leader

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support of the Keep Her School Campaign. Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to provide quality education, safe learning environments, and hope to countless children who would otherwise be left behind.

With the next school term resuming soon, we are at a critical juncture. This report outlines our progress, the immediate needs for the upcoming term, and the urgent reasons why continued support is essential to ensure no child misses out on education.

Current Impact of the Campaign

Thanks to your contributions, we have achieved the following:

· Enrolled over 120 children in safe, supportive learning environments.
· Provided school supplies, uniforms, and nutrition programs to ensure children can learn without barriers.
· Trained 15 local teachers to deliver quality, gender-sensitive education.
· Renovated and equipped 10 classrooms, creating spaces conducive to learning.

However, the need continues to grow, and the upcoming term presents both an opportunity and a challenge.

The Urgency: Why Immediate Support is Critical

a) School Term Resumption

The new school term begins in next month February, just 3weeks away. To ensure a smooth and timely opening, we must:

· Finalize registrations for new students, especially girls at risk of dropping out.
· Procure and distribute textbooks, notebooks, and learning materials.
· Cover operational costs, including teacher stipends and classroom maintenance.

Without immediate action, we risk delaying education for hundreds of children, which can have long-term effects on their development and future opportunities.

b) Growing Demand for Education

In our community, the number of out-of-school children has risen due to economic hardships and social barriers. Every day without support means another child may never return to the classroom. Your donation today can directly reverse this trend.

c) Sustainable Impact

Education is not just about attendance—it’s about empowerment, safety, and breaking cycles of poverty. By supporting this campaign, you are investing in:

· Gender equality (keeping girls in school reduces early marriage and increases future earnings).
· Community resilience (educated children become leaders and change-makers).
· Long-term development (every year of schooling increases a child’s future income potential).

Our Goals for the Upcoming Term

With your help, we aim to:

· Enroll an additional 200 children (60% girls) in the new term.
· Provide full scholarships covering tuition, supplies, and meals for at-risk students.
· Launch after-school programs in literacy and STEM for enhanced learning.
· Ensure all classrooms are safe, stocked, and ready for day one of the new term.

How You Can Help

We invite you to join us in this urgent mission. Here’s what your support can provide:

1-Supplies for one child for the entire term.
2- One month of teacher training and support.
3-A full scholarship for one student (tuition, meals, and materials).
Equip an entire classroom with books and learning aids.

Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to a full, thriving school when the term begins.

Our Commitment to Transparency

We are committed to stewarding your donations responsibly. You will receive:

· Regular updates on student progress and school milestones.
· Financial reports detailing how every dollar is spent.
· Stories and photos showcasing the impact of your generosity.

Time is of the essence. As we prepare to reopen the school gates, we rely on your compassion and belief in the power of education to help us welcome every eager mind waiting to learn.

Together, we can ensure that the next term is not just a return to school, but a leap toward a brighter future.

Thank you for standing with us.

With gratitude,
